HOW TO PREPARE FRESH FISH {TILAPIA} SOUP (OMI OBE)

On this Saturday morning I woke up thinking what soup to prepare aside form the common and regular soups. I decide to cook this rich and tasty soup for a change, and believe me it's worth it.
Fresh fish soup is delicious and nutritious. It is simple to prepare
but note that fish soup is of a more watery consistency than meat/chicken soup.
That is why the Yoruba people called it omi obe.

HOW TO PREPARE BANGA [OFE AKWU] SOUP
Nigerian Banga Soup or Ofe Akwu is native to the Niger Delta
and the South Eastern parts of Nigeria. It’s contains nutrients that are
essential for the body, from my last post you will get the full details of how
nutritious this soup is, because the major ingredient for the soup is PALM
FRUIT.
Banga soup is
commonly eaten, with various fufu recipes: Starch, Pounded Yam, Semolina, Garri
and Cassava Fufu. In the South Eastern parts of Nigeria, Banga Soup is referred
to as Ofe Akwu where Ofe means Soup / Stew and Akwu means palm fruit and is
used mainly as stew for Boiled White Rice.

Egusi soup ,also known as Obe Efo elegusi/ Ofe Egusi, is a delicious Nigerian soup that is made with grounded melon seeds and enriched with vegetables, assorted meat, fish and spices.
